TGIF! Going with a favorite go to wine tonight. I opened another wine and it went down the drain, opened this and sighed with satisfaction! Cheers!

May 31st, 2019Wow! What an absolutely delicious wine full of plum and fig on the palate! A nice dark purple color with lovely fruit on the nose. Went well with steak for dinner. Will definitely buy this again!

Light sweet nose with currants, cherries, wood, vanilla, licorice, tobacco, dried figs, peppercorn, earth, leather, spices, chocolates and mocha.
Full bodied and smooth, with medium acidity long legs.
Dry on the palate and very fruity, with figs, currants, raisins, blackberries, vanilla, cedar, chocolates, tobacco, licorice, peppercorn, earth, spices, cloves, mint and peppercorn.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
A nice Petite Sirah for the week day, with a nice mouthfeel. Drinking nicely now with mild complexity, and good balance.
Enjoyable by itself or with food.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up. A good sipping wine and good as a party wine too.
I liked it better than the 2014, I had a year ago.
13% alcohol by volume.

Light intensity on the nose with blackberries, blueberries, cherries, wood, vanilla, peppercorn and licorice.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Dry and Fruity on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, raspberries, oak, licorice, vanilla, dark chocolate, herbs, spices and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and black pepper.
A nice California Petite Sirah, but simple. Still, enjoyable by itself or with food, like lamb chops. I would guess that there is some Zinfandel in it too.
I paired it with soft cheeses and a spinach dip.
It Has a little annoying taste, that I couldn't figure out, on the mid palate. Drinkable now, and not appropriate for aging.

Not as tannic as most PS in our experience. Very fruity, almost seemed sweet.
