Aug 18th, 2019Solid wine: big extraction w/out harsh tannins, multi-layered, complex, excellent depth of flavor that needs time to unwind... after 90 mins starting seeing acidity blend w/tannins & show cohesiveness. Red & blue fruit, some pepper, herbaceous along with damp soil, coffee and mocha. Intense and unexpected richness from North Carolina!

Jul 4th, 2019Loved this red! Smooth and dry, but not too dry. Some sweet notes, reminiscent of berries and summer. A tad smoky. I could drink this all day!

full bodied,spicy dark fruit. Nice finish. Beautiful little vineyard in the NC Mountains.
