Light lemon core , young looking . Fine , persistent mousse . Touches of baked pastry , brioche , lemon peel , dried mushrooms . On the palate still quite tight , pretty high acidity but enough mid palate to fill out , yellow fruits , touch of lemon and brioche. Pretty good , slightly toasty , chalky and mineral finish . Well balanced overall , clean and moreish on the palate . Certainly would have said Champagne had this been blind . This is lovely now , though will no doubt keep and possible improve over the next 5 years or so
