Bright red purple in the glass. Big nose of blackberry cobbler and black rubber; echoed on the palate with raspberry undertones. Full body with medium tannins and medium acidity. A bit leaner than what one might expect from the Aussies making it quite acceptable with a variety of foods. I'm having BBQ ribs.

A little sweet for my current tastes. It’s got some complexity to it thought. $26

Needs an hour to air. Do it. A bit sweet. Not to jammy. Interesting take on amarone by drying grapes. Oak is light after 12 months. Needs more time in the rack.

Oz take on Italian air dried shiraz grapes. Bursting with wonderful black fruit flavours, soft tannins and an aftertaste that seems to go on forever. Supervalu offer € 15.

2013 vintage. Garnet color, indigo hues, full bodied. Ripe plum, blackberry, cola, currant, cocoa, earthy notes. Complex, silky mouthfeel, medium finish. Nice!

Much lighter in appearance than I would have expected. A nose of rose petals. On the palate, moderately sweet notes. Poor finish.

As expected, somewhat sweet. But not overly jammy.
