1846 marked the year when the first wine grapes were planted in Livermore Valley, I have been enjoying wines from this region since the early 90s when it was still a relatively unknown AOC, now the quality is supper and some of the wineries are as good as Napa and Sonoma. This CS is a very pleasant, it is not a big wine it is an enjoyable and tasty wine , with a lovely balance between, fruit, body and wood. Medium body, lots of black fruit and a pleasant finish. My score 88, drink to 2020
