Abut of a bruiser, despite the very reasonable 13.3% abv, this smooths out a bit with 2-3 hours of decanting. Though Russian River, it's certainly not as slick as its $40+ counterparts. But at this price point, who's complaining?!

1 person found it helpfulAug 7th, 2015Very pleasing P. Noir with light body, excellent structure, and characteristic notes of red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and hints of neutral and new oak barrels. Good, light body with moderate acidity and a lively though medium finish. An excellent example of new world fruitiness with old world style and sensibility, a difficult balance to strike with California grapes. Very well done P. Noir.
