Quite exceptional. Drank alone over a couple of hours. A master class in winemaking. Grillo with skin contact, native yeasts, and unfined/unfiltered, characteristic citrus notes of lemon, grapefruit, and a touch of overripe lime with notes of orange peel and umami bomb yeast autolytic notes. It continued to evolve, showing various bread and citrus expressions without giving up. A sensational wine from a winemaker I've come to respect. — 7 years ago
Very pleasing P. Noir with light body, excellent structure, and characteristic notes of red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and hints of neutral and new oak barrels. Good, light body with moderate acidity and a lively though medium finish. An excellent example of new world fruitiness with old world style and sensibility, a difficult balance to strike with California grapes. Very well done P. Noir. — 7 years ago

Hot hot hot. 14.9%, pronounced nose of deep red and black cherry, black currants, raspberry, pomegranate, ambiguous florality, cedar, and black peppery toast. Heavy on the palate for a P. Noir (of course) with a medium finish and low acidity. Has some longevity in it - that alcohol alone is practically preserving it. Not in love with overly extracted P. Noir from overly ripe grapes. Not a good example of style, but certainly an impressive technique of boozing people up. — 7 years ago
