Marco De Bartoli
Terre Siciliane Grillo

Quite exceptional. Drank alone over a couple of hours. A master class in winemaking. Grillo with skin contact, native yeasts, and unfined/unfiltered, characteristic citrus notes of lemon, grapefruit, and a touch of overripe lime with notes of orange peel and umami bomb yeast autolytic notes. It continued to evolve, showing various bread and citrus expressions without giving up. A sensational wine from a winemaker I've come to respect.
