Quite fond of Marco De Bartoli's entry-level Grillo, but this was a definite step up. Highly aromatic with white flowers, lemon, and rocks on the nose. Peach and nutty notes emerge on the palate along with salty minerality. Well-structured and nicely balanced with M+ body and M/M+ acidity. I feel like I say this a lot, but this wine definitely had some Burgundian character. Purchased at Popina in Brooklyn, NY. — 20 days ago

Pale gold in colour. Black olives, yellow pears, and elderflower on the nose. Wet stones are there also. The salinity and fleshiness of black olives pops up on the palate, as well as a bit past overripe yellow pears and a tinge of balsamic sweetness. — 25 days ago
