There is a slight funk on the nose of this wine that exhibits plum fruit with good acidity and nice tannins. But the wholesale price is 20% too much a bottle for the wine delivered.

Decided to taste side by side with a Catoctin Creek Meritage and this was almost as good but a little flat on bouquet and overall well rounded ness. Good fruit, pleasant finish - just a little lacking. I would say it is like having sex with your ugly ex girlfriend......still good but not Christie Brinkley.
