Looking spot on. Touch of rose petal but otherwise ripe fruits of mulberry, dark cherry, spiced plums, blackberry, a lick of oak and hints of pepper. Plush palate with little tannin presence and medium acidity.

Sometimes it’s just about the right way of drinking something. Opened this last night and it was fine but not memorable. Tonight it still has a chill from the fridge, it’s a warm and tempestuous evening, and this wine is singing. It’s a curious combination of primary fruit sweetness with some baking spices and musk sticks, glossy red and black berries leading into a satisfyingly firm finish. Definitely chill it a little - makes a world of difference.
