Looking spot on. Touch of rose petal but otherwise ripe fruits of mulberry, dark cherry, spiced plums, blackberry, a lick of oak and hints of pepper. Plush palate with little tannin presence and medium acidity.

Mulberry, strawberry, cherry ripe, nougat, sundried tomato, jubey blackberry, even a touch of leather. It's nice to smell, but lets you down in the palate. Thin and extremely short.

A crowd pleaser. A perfect bbq red or a glass after a day at work.

Great every day drinker. Great value for money.

Sometimes it’s just about the right way of drinking something. Opened this last night and it was fine but not memorable. Tonight it still has a chill from the fridge, it’s a warm and tempestuous evening, and this wine is singing. It’s a curious combination of primary fruit sweetness with some baking spices and musk sticks, glossy red and black berries leading into a satisfyingly firm finish. Definitely chill it a little - makes a world of difference.

Really quite pleasant at the price point. After several days it has opened up and gained a little more complexity and length. Perpetually voluptuous, if not a touch warm. Always enjoy my annual dozen and this vintage is no exception.

Ridiculously drinkable stuff. Sock it back now with some hearty food - lasagne worked well. Lots of lovely juicy fruit. It's a bit short on the finish and isn't the most intellectual wine, but by god it's good fun.

Christ I am drunk after a glass... Is this a fortified or a wine?
