Raw countryside Sauvignon with a smile - themes of smoked tropical fruits - think papaya, lemon, starfruit. Green plantain, maybe.
Zings the peripheries, cools with cream. Resounds fully.
At about $48 you’re paying subsidies, but it’s good wine and something I can swallow :) (pun intended)

Beautiful expressive sauvignon! Smoke, crushed rocks, honey, ripe stone fruit. Opens up in a chenin kind of way. One of the best sauv blancs I've had!
