Noëlla Morantin
Côt À Côt Touraine Cot
Clear bretty notes of clove/band-aid on day one seem to dissipate a bit on day two, with bright red currants and tart blackberry notes and a touch of forest floor. A bit rustic overall but a lovely old world wine. Great acidity and moderate length and backbone.

However, does not taste at all like a malbec. Not much body

Intensely acidic with notes of cherry and cream. Herbal, too, with a bit of limestone minerality joining fresh cut basil and rosemary. Yum.

Jan 31st, 2016Really disappointing. The wine fell flat soon after opening. Strong cherry but not much complexity.
