Cute frog 🐸 and peacock 🦚 critter label. Label says this is a blend of 8 varietals of grape! Color is good. Roses. Aroma is a blend of ripe dark fruits and wet rocks in the sun. Maybe some wood too. Flavors are fairly new world. The toffee/vanilla of oak lurks in the background with the juicy fruit core. Cherry syrup and berry sauce. Has a bit of a raisin finish. Or maybe another dried fruit. Fairly complex. Despite the smooth and velvety side this is a nice Italian red. Perfumed, juicy, dry and perfect for hearty foods.
