Displaying a gorgeous pure ruby color in the glass. The nose showed intense spiced cherry, balsamic, grilled herbs, dried flowers, and hints of undergrowth. It seemed to hover, weightless on the palate, yet deliver a mix of concentrated dried fruits. Cherry, blackberry, and blueberry were all present, along with savory minerals, roasted pepper, dusty earth and crushed flowers. A wave of brisk acidity provided lift and made the mouth water. It finished with a hint of heat, yet forgivable as remnants of dried fruits and spice lingered on.

(16.5/20) Красивый и элегантный аромат с нотами вишневого сиропа, малины, цветов и белого перца. Довольно тельное с ощутимым алкоголем во вкусе. Хорошее соотношение цена/качество.

Stepping in the path of Valpolicella's Amarone is a bold risk nowadays, even so this wine does great. Nebbiolo grapes give a very nice structure and body with a pleasant backtaste of raisin, as it should be. Complex and intense. Blackberry, backcurrant, cherry, chocolate and dry fruits are the most vivid flavours. A very good wine from Valtellina, a great valley of my native region.

As heady and fantastic as the first time I tasted it last year. Tons of intensity, but doesn't sacrifice nuance and depth. Just because Nebbiolo goes by a different name in this part of Italy doesn't mean it deserves less accolades.

Air dried Nebbiolo grapes for 30-35 days before fermentation, this is one I've not had before. Dried cherry, rose aromas with slightly sweet tannins- long finish that is not harsh or bitter. Good grip and persistent red fruit flavors. Should improve with age as this is a youngster .
