This riesling spent 7 (!) years in large, neutral oak. Right after bottling (2015) this wine tasted somehow out of balance - almost like oxidated/overaged but now after some years in the bottle this wine is so crisp, lively and deep. Typical wachau riesling notes of ripe apricot/peach underlined with very complex tertiary aromas of petrol, some flowers, honey, et cetera. Mouthwatering acidity, lively acidity, moderate alcohol, long afterhall, still great potential.
