Yoichi 12 Year Single Malt Whisky

Very smooth Japanese whiskey, you can really smell cedar on the nose...

Jap whisky study last night. The group seemed to be fawning over this, but I didn't think much of it. In a way, this was like a lightly peated Scotch, but turned down a notch.

Slightly harsh nose. Hint of apple. Hint of oak.

Palette also harsh.

Very interesting! A Japanese Whiskey with some peaty smoke and alcohol burn.

Last time I tasted was @ Yoichi distillery. Very delicate mizunara and wood oil. I like!
