Nickel & Nickel Bear Track 2017. Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, dark cherry, dark fruits, florals and spice. On the palate, cassis, black cherry, florals, and very interesting notes of black olive and sage in the finish. Medium body with strong presence of tannins at this young age.

I really enjoyed this wine; 30 minutes in a decanter did a remarkable job mellowing the tannins. Otherwise, an excellent, classic, but tannic Napa cab.
