Wine #4 of a Chefs tasting. Not a crazy Cab Merlot blend but adequate. The low light of the night. It was paired with an uber spicy Espresso rubbed Elk. A Zin would have paired better.

Dec 2nd, 2017Violette on the nose with dark fruit. Young tannins so a little age might make it a 10. Drank with duck breast, duck bacon, pasta with walnut , dried cherries, pear, cherry tomato cream sauce.
