These unoaked CA chardonnays are pretty delicious. Carneros district. Good stuff, and I am not a Chard guy.

Low acid, flabby. Not what I was expecting from a stainless chard.

Still young and needing time for the fruit and oak to integrate. Seems much higher than the 25% new French that is in here. That being said, good tension here that makes me want to reach for a second glass. Not flabby. Coconut, lemon curd, saltines, yellow and green apple. There's purity in here thanks to whole cluster fermentation but it's currently overshadowed by the prominent oak. Hoping for this to evolve with time.
