Outrageously good and ready to drink now (late 2024) and still has time. Dark ruby color with a bounty of aromas that blast out of the glass. Earth and fruit. Dark chocolate, eucalyptus, vanilla bean, oak and lots of baking spices bleed together with rich cassis, blackberries, and dark cherries. It’s not super tight, well integrated tannins and strong but not overbearing acid structure. It is a big wine but not overwhelmingly so.

Really big and bold, but as of 2024 the ‘18 vintage is still immature. It’s going to be beautiful and delicious though and hopefully smoothes out. Strong acidity and mouth watering tannins. There are lots of dark fruits mixed with some sour cherry and other tart red berries. Chocolate and spice, medium vanilla tannins. I’ll sit on my other bottles for a few more years.

I have a few of these so decided to open one up even though it’ll hopefully keep for another decade. It was a rewarding experience.

Dark ruby and deep purple hues layer on top ripe blackberry and blueberry notes, complimented by dark chocolate and a touch of mint. Wonderfully dense and velvety smooth with vanilla, blackberries, and a nice soy sauce complexion. Looking forward to see how it ages.

Big full Single Vineyard Cab drinking beautifully. This can run with the big dogs in Napa.

Deeper purple with chewy blackberries and soft tannins in this big bold but approachable offering. Drinking beautifully. Worth the wait but will drink will for 10-15 years further.

Cab Sauvignon Yountville. Very bell pepper smell. Didn’t take much notes.
