Red Label Napa County Chardonnay

Butterscotch, pineapple, caramel, light acid.

Lemon custard, banana, cocoanut macaroons, but also a nice shale element. Very lime entry becomes creamy quickly, then pineapple and cocoanut water. Not a lot of terroir, but decent winemaking, and somehow apropos for the Caribbean.

Crisp and light, oak notes on the finish. Refreshing.

Meh. This was supposed to be special. It wasn't awful, but I just didn't like it. Not "drinkable."

Nice balance and cut with good oak integration. Aromatics pretty locked down. $18.50 C

A little tart but not bad.

Definitely a keeper!

Goog oak, butter and apricot and long finish. Enjoyed with mango/apricot cheddar cheese purchased at Bacchus wine and beer bistro in Corolla, NC.
