This is a pretty serious wine. Right out of the bottle it was a bit tight and the nose primarily showed vanilla and spice notes. It really developed over the next couple of hours, though, with a perfumed floral/leathery bouquet coming through along with the spice and cherry flavors. It has velvety tannins, fresh acidity, and is still young with lots of life left. A solid expression of Nebbiolo, it drinks like a Barolo at twice its price. Would recommend.
