2 people found it helpfulJul 7th, 2017This one was fun. Upon opening the bottle, there was notably little aroma. Even after pouring, the nose gave little. Only after the first couple swirls did fruit appear as I expected from the get go. LET THIS ONE BREATHE a little. Once it was open, I got Blackberry Jam, Black Currant, and Fig. There is a sweetness to it that follows through, the tannins are soft(er) or just really well balanced. It follows with a Mocha Cocoa and Nutmeg. Ending with something on the breath, Eucalyptus? Food brought this out more. I loved it.
