Nose is compressed with notes of pomegranate and cinnamon. Well endowed and quite muscular in terms of the palate presentation. The palate experience scales up as the wine is exposed to air. Great tannic structure, but lacks a little acidity. Finish is moderately sweet with a hint of underripe cherries. The future is bright for this wine.

Really holding up well on day 2. Beautiful weight and focus on the mid-palate. Sweet black cherries with medium tannins and delicate acidity complete a strong example.

Lighter in color for a 2019, more of a medium ruby. Nose is cherry pie, not tart cherries but sweet black cherry. A bit of dust and a lot of cedar chest. Great structure, smooth tannins, and medium to full-bodied. The lighter color fooled me into thinking this would be a lighter cab, but it packs plenty of punch. The finish lingers especially pumping those cedar notes throughout.
