So so good - opened up quickly too

I thought the 15 was marvelous, the 16 is nearly a pop and pour so very nice. Everything is so well put together, acid, tannins and fruit. Nice 👍

Amazing purity. Blackberry preserves and charcoal smoke. A hair sweet for my palate. Finely tannic finish.

Well I was going to hold this a bit longer but after @Leah Smith told me this taste stays with you for 2 days I couldn’t hold out, she doesn’t know how weak I am @Mike Smith , she got me, hook line & sinker! Mmmm,,,

This was too intense and with too much new oak for my tastes on opening... after two days recorked on the counter the remainder of the bottle had changed dramatically - still a big, plush, wine, but with the oak much more integrated, layers of blue and black fruit and a long finish.

Think I hold the mag & 3liter of Empyrean for awhile though,
