Made in a light fresh grenache style with fantastic light floral aromas of berries and toffee apple, stunning Mataro.

Funky, dusty expressive nose full of blackberry and blackcurrants, cedar, dried herbs and clove, juicy acid and nowhere near the tannin i remembered but balancing out quite well none the less, on the longer side for finishes too! Juicy!

Tried a few Murray St wines at the Sydney Good Food & Wine Show. This was the nicest one we could afford! Not had Mataro before but it's all you could expect/want from a Barossa Valley red: full-bodied and delicious!
