Tried this again about a year later, straw yellow with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with apple and melon flavors adding lemon zest and heavy toasted oak. Not as crisp as my previous notes, medium finish ending with some vanilla spice. The heavy oak makes the wine a bit off balance. Tasting Sample.

Feb 7th, 2017Deep Straw yellow with stone fruit aromas and some oak scents. On the palate very acidic with orange, apple and apricot flavors, some spice and heavy oak on a medium length finish. A bit out of balance and too much oak, Pass. Tasting Sample.

The twin’s 1st Birthday Party! Was shocked after the previous bottle I had! This wine rocked! Dark gold color with excellent finesse. Nutty, creamy and well balance with some citrus and floral undertones. I’m speechless.

Blind tasted this at a Total Wine event. Oak is most predominant on the nose, but it is actually fairly mild in mouth. On the palette: fresh fruit flavors of lemon and yellow apple, some good acid, and a little bit of butter on the finish. I'm not a big CA chard guy, but this is a nice balance of subtle oak and fresh Chardonnay flavors.
