Wow. This is so interesting (in a good way). My first Cali Malbec and my first Mt Brave wine. I gave this about 2 hours in a decanter and it’s just starting to open up. I’m getting a lot of red fruit and highly aromatic floral on the nose. The palate is lighter than I would have thought from the nose - it’s more medium bodied and has a lot of acid. The tannins are present but soft. Great fruitful and bright finish. This is super cool and I dig it. Chris Carpenter does it again.

A first for me. Mt Brave 2012 Malbec. Trying a very limited wine from California .Rich and lush will loads of Berry fruit has a Fabulous mouth feel ! A wine I must have more of! CB 94

2014 vintage. Heavy bod. Darker than the liquid that pours out during your thrice postponed, oil change. Easy to slip into with some back-end, palate boxing kerfuffle. If decade-old, $$ Napa Malbec moved the needle, this would rule the roost. 03.19.25.

Outstanding wine! Paired nicly with a great T Bone steak. This was a great cab! Full bodied and great after taste.
