Mmmmm herbal sage and juniper. Cigar box... like I can distinctly taste the cedar and the tabacco. What a pleasure. A rollercoaster of flavours and really looooong finish. Delicious. Also, please note the New Years celebration on zoom in the background. Happy end of 2020 everyone.

Haven’t had this since 2020, so 3.5 years later... Last review included “cherries, cherries, cherries,” and had it at 9.1. This has evolved very well! Chocolate, cherries, and a very nice funk that gives this wine a touch of old world. Big fan! 93-94

2016 vintage. Big but not brawny. Smooth but not polished. Structured but not grippy. Just really well-made with proportionate “componentry” and outstanding concentration throughout.
