This was a very nice blend. Shared with some Napa friends and we all commented on the plush taste.

One of my favorite CA cabs. Great acid, well balanced, and lean. Lots of perfumed berry.

Oak and leather on nose, full body, mild tannins, dry. Complex palate with notes of coffee and dark fruits.

Nice, smooth, cherry notes. Would like to have set it down for a while longer, but it was still drinking nicely.

Exceptional value. At roughly 1/3 of the price of its better-known neighbor in the Santa Cruz Mountains, this wine feels like an absolute steal. The nose is to die for and it’s nice and round in the mouth. Has weight to it but not as full-bodied as typical Bordeaux-style blends. If I had better storage conditions in my apartment, I would buy this in bulk!

Fantastic Santa Cruz mountain Cab, classic flavor profile, restrained, so well balanced, a long and layered finish, closer to a rich Margaret River than a typical Napa.

Rather flat and uninspiring.

The crowd favourite at the Brisbane tasting of Cabernets. Cabernet Sauvignon 78/Malbec 10/Merlot 10/Petit Verdot 2. Similar in style to the Mount Brave. Black and blue fruits. Oaked up and ripe.

2012 vintage. Nose of forest floor, cinnamon, plums, graham crackers, baked pie crust and a slight hint of menthol. Sumptuous medium body. Oodles of rasp-blue-blackberries with a delicate cedar finish. Intriguing but not showing up to potential currently. Hold for at least a year.
