This 2019 is the most recent release of the Moss Wood Pinot Noir - thank you for the sample!

It was handpicked and spent approximately 20 months in French oak prior to release. It’s drinking beautifully right now however it will gain complexity over the years in the cellar if you have the patience.

It’s a cherry red colour in the glass. On the nose it ranges from florals to baking spice, earthy mushrooms to cherries and strawberries laced with elegant vanillin oak. In the mouth it’s juicy and perfectly rounded and balanced. A true pleasure to consume

All opinions are my own. Drink what you enjoy!

I’m just going to sit here by my Vintec wine fridges and indulge 🤤 Seriously though, if you have a bottle of Moss Wood in the house, it’s 100% tempting to hog it all to yourself 😉

Thank you Clare, Keith and the Moss Wood team for this sample of your 2018 Pinot Noir. I pulled out my Riedel Pinot glass and thoroughly enjoyed it with my love ♥️

In the glass it’s a juicy garnet hue. On the nose it entices you into the glass with pretty notes of homely baking spice, fresh red berries, succulent plums and earthy mushrooms. While on the mouth it’s almost whimsical. I know that sounds like wine blab, but it’s just elegantly beautiful. It has a velvet-like texture with plentiful red berries and savoury notes 😋 Yum!

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
