2011 vintage. Fairly aromatic and good color for a decade-old wine. a separation of flavors on the palate tho with the traditional pinot flavors disappearing down the back of the gullet and earthy/dirty flavors (more Bordeaux vs Burgundy) concentrated and depositing themselves just behind the tip of the tongue. Weird. Still, lovable in a "what just happened?" way. 7.29.23.
