Classy label. Hummer? Smells rich. Cherry syrup and black berries meet leather and spices. Flavors are nice. Round and balanced. Some cola to go with the pure black cherry stuff. Bark. Nice bark. Bitters as well. It’s tasty. Complex. Woodsy. It’s a classy unique Pinot.

Aug 12th, 2020We had the 2012 Vintage on 7/9-10/20. Black cherry and an earthiness on the bouquet. Black cherry and raspberry on the palate. The smooth mouth feel and velvety texture are the highlights of this wine. Subtle, but still fruit forward.

Oct 14th, 2016We had this on 9/23-24/16. More subtle than fruit forward. Mushroomy on the nose. Strawberry and earthiness on the palate with a smooth finish to a medium bodied wine.

May 8th, 2016Fruit bomb up front that just grabs you. Bigger styled Pinot. Doesn't really have the subtlety or balance that a burgundy or rrv bottle has, but it would stack up well with a ribeye.

Aug 31st, 2015Too much of an upfront punch in the palette, then the spices bite the tongue, and then - unimpressive finish. After airing this wine for about an hour, it got better, so might be good with hearty meats in rich, sweeter sauce, like bbq.
