Extremely high alcohol for a Pinot. Bitter, burnt, black tea on the finish.

We had the 2012 Vintage on 12/1-2/23. A real RRV PN with tastes of blackberry, black raspberry, baking spices and cinnamon. Medium bodied and well balanced. New World, but not overly fruity

We had the 2014 Vintage on 3/23-24/20. The second night the Burgundian characteristics came out. Dark fruit, mushrooms and cardomom. Smooth and velvety finish. A real good Pinot from Moshin.

Jake’s house wine. Pulls you right to it. Tobacco and a delicate yet firm earth flavor.

We had a vertical tasting for Cindy’s Birthday. The 2009 is great; Burgundian. 2011 lighter in color. 2015 is darker and needs more time. 2010 and 2012 are more representative of Sonoma with more red fruit.
