On the weekend we travelled to Victoria's wine region of Gippsland (from our couch). For the latest #thetcwineclub monthly box we decided to pick 3 bottles from the one Australian 🇦🇺 wine 🍷 region in honour of #aussiewinemonth.

Like the sparkling (note posted yesterday) this white comes from Moondarra Wines. 'After Kathleen' is a white blend made from Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Picolit grapes 🍇.

On the eye it's a pale and slightly cloudy yellow shade. The wine is unfined and unfiltered so the cloudiness is to be expected. It's very interesting on the nose, it evokes images of a cheese board in my mind when smelling it; think cheese, crackers, citrus, nectarines and edible flowers. While in the mouth it has lashings of flavour and texture. I was particularly picking up white pepper, lemon and guava. An intriguing wine to say the least.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #gifted #tcweekdaywine
