Big and juicy with rich, brambly black fruit pushing up from the bottom, but the meaty, smoky tones are little intense. Paired with beef short rib and roasted veg.

Wine tasting at Moon Curser. 2017 Syrah, again quite young. Plums, cassis, blackberry and black currants. Overall it’s softer than other BC Syrah’s with minimal spice, and easy smooth tannins.

Thought we would crack open this tasty Moon Curser Syrah to go with our steak and veggies. Dark and inky describes the colour, the nose was decent, followed by a jammy full long lasting finish. I’d definitely recommend grabbing a bottle or 2!

Jun 19th, 2018Dark and inky...loads of dark fruit with hint of pepper, sage and sweet spice. Dry finish so enjoy with food, great with a mushroom and sausage pasta dish.
