Wine tasting at Moon Curser. The 2017 Malbec is very young. Fruit forward, Mostly dark fruits with some mild raspberry notes mixed in for good measure. Think plums, raspberry, black berry, followed by vanilla and soft tannins. Should improve in the next few years, but typically still prefer a Mendoza Malbec.

A nice Malbec here. Not in your face with power, there is a very soft earthiness with dark fruitiness permeating. Cedar too?

Peppery and dark fruit. Would have liked to tried some more but the other guests pounced on it. Great winery with some unique varietals.

Lovely smooth medium body. Low medium tannings, flowers, spices, oak, and dates at the end.

Saved this gem for a few years after our trip to BC wine country. The wild blueberry I tasted at the winery has mellowed with age, but there's still lots of dark fruit along with the earthier notes. Flavours similar to a port without the sweetness. Great with rare duck breast and blueberry sauce.

This was amazing!! Notes of pepper, vanilla and caramel and of course the beautiful dark fruit. The color is almost an inky black...absolutely a beautiful wine. I'm sad that it's gone.

Nice drop. Peppery nose. Cherries. Med bodied and held up to steak but would likely go for cheese and charcuterie next time. Would drink again.

Smells like a sweat sock. Wet and dry with blueberry or plum notes. Not full bodied. Light and not in your face. Likely well paired with a cheese platter
