Willamette Valley Gewürztraminer

Real gewürztraminer! Petrol, floral nose (riesling-like). Passion fruit, tropical citrus (grapefruit?) palate with loads of spice on finish. The Finish goes from spice back to fruit then fades... Amazing!

So gewurtz on the nose, dry on the palate, nice acidity, still not sure if I like it, but very interesting none the less.

Tropical fruits on the nose but finishes dry and without much fruit flavor.

Nice. Great value. Lychee. Pear. Baking spice. Jasmine. Rich. Beautiful acidity. I can dig it.

As I had dinner this wine really began to open up and was well balanced. Acidity and spice on the finish and subtle dry fruity taste up front - just for a second. Smells of grapefruit.

Cuts through creamy cheese like a knife. Honey, lychee and other exotic fruit. Dry. Semblance of sweetness. Easy.
