Found this old bottle from some old buddies who got me into wine. Lost track of the over them years but so nice to find this bottle so many years later. Dusty, salty, dry, a little Sangiovese spice. Love it!

So nice to find a balanced, restrained style of Sangiovese. With their upbringing not surprised that they know how to treat this varietal. We had it with grass fed Bisteca and what a great compliment, yum!

Light body and dry. Went well with a perfectly cooked ribeye and Gorgonzola butter, Brussels sprouts and au gratin potatoes.
