Mount Trio are located in the Porongurup sub-region of the Great Southern WA wine region. I was recently sent this bottle to give it a whirl and here's what I thought...
Cherry red on the eye with leather, pepper, and blackberries on the nose. There's something nearly medicinal about it also.
Juicy, fruit driven palate with black fruits, jam and black jelly baby flavours. The finish has a distinctive coffee pang to it.
