Good value to be had here. Chilean Cabernet from Colchagua, although I suspect there’s some Merlot in here too. Quite aromatic with liquid violets, black currant, blackberry, red plum and cherry, touches of tobacco, blue gum and toasted chestnut. Oak presence is negligible. Medium level of tannins sinewy in nature with acidity set to medium. Medium to full bodied and quite a fruit forward wine that would be a real crowd pleaser.

Sep 16th, 2018The aroma had currants, blueberries, and a little of strawberry. The flavor brought in blackberries, raspberries, and some chocolate and leather. Acidity and tannins were in balance. I didn’t get a big wow factor from this, but it was very pleasant and easy to drink.
