Good wine. Relative lack of acid has an unbalancing effect on the wine. It makes the alcohol stand out somewhat. Still enjoyable though:)

Heavy tannins, full bodied wine. Oaky, with black currants and black berries. Eventually mellowed. Not a bad wine. Paired well with a roast.

This 2011 vintage has a great classic Cab Sav taste with a smooth long finish and a good bit of body, great with flavoursome meats, lamb and tomato based dishes. Can't go wrong! ;D

It's okay more old world, spices, not heavy on the dark fruit. Longer finish but too light on the acidity makes the alcohol jump out too much.

Lots of pepper... even maybe a little heat felt in the gums at the outset. Ripe plum follows and pleasant lingering acidity to finish. Fifteen and under! I've been pretty lucky with bottles lately... 2011 vintage.
