The nose is bizarre. Not necessarily unpleasant but can’t quite place what’s going on. Almost graphite / metal on the nose with some tar. The nose doesn’t carry though to the palate which has notes of dark ripe but not jammy berries and some vanilla. Tannins are relatively evolved and smooth. Beyond the nose, relatively easy drinking without being smooth, vanilla milkshake-esque
