2024/1. I always love this wine and this bottle of the 2020 was a bit more in keeping with my impression of the house style than the last - savory, tangy red fruit, orange peel and earth, though still particularly rich and layered in this iteration

Jan 20th, 20242023 fall. Wonderful classic Chianti, with red cherry, earth and a bit of almond and orange peel, but still very primary and quite powerful

Nice Chianti from Radda made in a rather old school style. Opened several hours before and gave it a slight chill which was good. Nice pairing with a series of things on the grill. Tannins are pretty in check, fruit is nice but balanced, good earth and acid. Nice wine.

Medium ruby core , wide quite light ruby rim . Juicy red fruits and pine resin , dried herbs . Nice rounded ripe red fruits in the mouth , pretty high acidity and quite gritty tannins , balanced alcohol . Dried herbs , quite mineral and saline on the finish . This is elegant and well balanced. Drinkable now though will improve over the next 3-5 years and last a further 5 or so . Not quite at the same level as the 2019 , though a good effort and will be drinking sooner.
