A roller coaster ride or tug of war between cab and Sangiovese, it seems. At times, it seems big and jammy and nondescript. But then this nice, edgy, rustic quality would poke out. Good acid. Definitely a crowd pleaser, but I need to drink more to formulate an opinion.

Another winning entry level bottling by Montepeloso, bursting with cherry fruit, dried flowers and lifted by fresh acidity.

Sweet aroma of plums and cherries. Powerful yet elegant flavor. The aftertaste is a little sharp which lowers the score just a bit. Medium tannins.
