Dryer and more tannic than I expected, but I've heard that Valle de Guadalupe wines tend to be dryer. Didn't hate it, but wouldn't seek it out if I were looking for a Cab Syrah blend.

Medium ruby in color; cassis, black plums, graphite on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like black pepper, black olives, blackberries, and a hint of eucalyptus with a long finish.
