Interesting, light bodied Syrah. Initially old boot leather but as it begins to open I’m overwhelmed with cranberries. Front has spice and earth. Has a tangy/tartness on the back end. Love the skull on the front.

Finally had a chance to try one of Patrick Capiello’s wines. This Syrah was made with help from Pax Mahle, a master of Syrah, and this one did not disappoint. Nice depth and structure, bright acidity, and low alcohol content. Great QPR for a really solid wine.
