Beautiful ruby/magenta color. Reductive horse stable at first. Opens up to chestnuts, garden herbs and wild raspberries on the nose. Bright, weightless, and so juicy. Some Va. Very very pretty Chianti.

This is technically not the Riserva because the DOCG would not allow because of the light color (???) but it would have been otherwise. Great value!

Not dark enough for the conzorsio, eh?
Their loss, our gain.
N: Big cherries and dirt, we’ll be nice and say souis bois..
P: Funk, Cherries, cranberry even, bright acidity and perfect tannins.Yumm
An hour out of the gate/open, and this is much deeper on the nose and palate.
Big black humus framed by bright acidity and tannic grip.

This fine Chianti didn’t make the conzorsoi’s cut for Chianti Classico Riserva in ‘16. WTF
Deep dusty cherries , roses, bramble on the nose.
Pure Sangiovese fruit on the palate, that dusty element returns with great acidity and healthy tannins. Wonderful. Thanks
